Rally Report: Report kindly submitted by Ivor Swift (Worcestershire Centre)

What a great location and venue. After having attended the 90th National at Sandringham, we pottered along to join the "Worcesters" follow-on, excellently ran by Stuart, Jo & Emily, with Trevor & Val in support. The usual warm welcome, there were already some visitors on site as the rally was opened before the National finished, to cater for day visitors to Sandringham.
Sedgeford isn't too far from Hunstanton, but the venue itself is tucked away slightly and had the benfit of use of the village hall.
Approx 20 units attended over the week (coming and going to suit), from as far afield as Devon and the depths of Scotland.

Weather was on the whole very good; hot and sunny for most with occasional rain.
Opening 'Flag' was a good excuse for a quick social, then Thursday morning we took up the chance of a full breakfast, cooked by Jo & Stuart, capably assisted by other "Worcesters". This proved to be a great success and raised a good amount of funds towards the Juniors chosen charity, Promised Dreams. What an excellent spread they provided too.

We pretty much did as we liked during the day, with some visiting local Hunstanton, Kings Lynn, Wells Next the Sea, etc., plus a choice of good clean beaches on the door step too.
Main 'Flag' on Friday evening was a fun event too, with an auction for further fund raising, and although we all prepared our own food for the evening, we made use of the hall and ate together ... very civilised indeed.

Great rally, thanks to all the Rally Officer team, plus the added help by other WCCC members too that all contributed to a successful follow on.
Roll on next year !!
