Rally Report: Report submitted by A N Other (Worcestershire Centre)

Avon Bank Meadow proved to be a gem of a site, tucked behind the boat yard at Wyre Piddle and sat on the bank of the River Avon. Approx 16 units on site for the weekend, with several visitors and a family of new meeters. Weather was very favourable for the weekend.

Saturday morning saw the transformation of Joy & Daves pitch to "Joy's Cafe" as the marshal team and friends served up a superb full English breakfast to start the weekend off on the right foot. During breakfast, Kevin Mills had arranged for a visitor to carry out some aerial filming of the rally by use of a drone.

The drone intrigued all visitors and hopefully there will be some video footage available soon.
Saturday afternoon was a quiet affair with most folk rambling off to Pershore, which was a comfortable walk from the site. The evening social was a relaxing get together (again in Joy and Daves marquee) with some 'nibbles' and friendly banter.
The rally reluctantly closed after a relaxing Sunday. Avon Bank Meadow is a site definately worth a return visit.
