Committee Updates

Having completed an astounding five years as our Chairman, and bringing the centre through the successful celebrations of our 50th anniversary, Kevin Mills felt it was time to take a very well earned break from the role. Our recent AGM held on Saturday 21st Sept, saw the post being taken on by David Orr, who will now take the helm and steer the centre forward into our 51st year and beyond. Although David is a fresh face on the committee, he's an avid supporter and rallyer with the centre, who we're sure will be admirable in this important role. His "Chairmans Welcome" will be published as soon as we're able to and David, along with his wife Karen, will be keen to meet you all on the rally field wherever possible. We're sure he'll be warmly welcomed into this challenging role and look forward to next years rally season.

Regretably, our AGM also saw the departure of our Treasurer, Sarah Turner. Sarah has done sterling work for the centre during her residency in this important role, but we now need to fill this post to keep the centre running. Sarah will continue to act as treasurer in the short term and is also keen to support anyone who takes on this post, but we do need to encourage a keen volunteer to replace Sarah in this vital role. Please feel free to speak with David Orr, Dave Hall (Secretary) or indeed Sarah, if you're in a position to help support the centre.

Margaret with CAMH Club Vice Chair, Malcolm Groves

It is with sadness, to announce the recent passing of Margaret Tolley, who died peacefully on Sunday 22nd September.
Margaret was a long standing member of the centre, who along with her late husband Eddie, were very well known throughout the Caravan & Motorhome Club. Margaret had in fact been part of Worcestershire Centre, since its inception in 1969.
Our sincere condolences and thoughts are with Mike Tolley and the rest of the family during this difficult time.

Margarets funeral was held on Friday 4th Oct.
